•Initiating ordering, receiving, batching and issuing of all aircraft parts, tools and equipment.

•Arrangement of storage and bin allocation of spares in alphanumerical storage system.

•To ensure stocks are maintained to required levels.

•Monitoring compliance with manufacturer’s Service Bulletins and ADs of both Aircraft and Aircraft parts

Technical Records:

•Processing and updating all technical documentation sent by the manufacturers. i.e. Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, KCAA Notices, Maintenance Manuals, Parts Catalogue etc.

•Updating aircraft flying time and cycles for the aircraft maintained by the company and determining the next check due i.e. log book entries.

•Raising job cards and defect sheets, entering in the work pack control sheet the number and all details on the check to be performed and allocated to the department concerned.

•Checking all maintenance records to ensure that all records are completed with required signatures of personnel who performed the maintenance / inspection, and the parts used before filing.

•Preserving records for the period required by KCARS following permanent withdrawal of aircraft or component from service.

•To ensure that all technical literature relating to the Maintenance being performed under license is available at all times when required by all appropriate members of the organization and that it’s kept current.

•Updating all Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives and initiate requisitions to store for spare parts if needed.

2007-2015 – East African Air Charters – Technical Records Superintendent/Quality Control

Technical Records:

•Ensuring that all aircraft documentation is up-to-date

•Ensuring that all aircraft component documentation is up-to-date

•Keeping the Company up-to-date with manufacturer’s service bulletins, airworthiness directives, KCAA notices and advisories and other maintenance related publications.

•Advising the Maintenance Manager, Workshop Manager and Quality Manager of the necessary, time critical maintenance and all required work schedules.

•Liaising with the above in scheduling maintenance work on aircraft in a timely manner, according to the maintenance schedules.

•Maintaining good records of work carried out on all aircraft maintained by the AMO

•Maintaining all logbooks relating to each aircraft

Quality Control:

•Monitoring the organization’s compliance with regulations

•Liaising with KCAA staff on the Company’s compliance with laid down procedures and arranging the Authority’s Audits of the company operations

•Requesting and/or initiating remedial action as necessary by the Accountable Manager, workshop, Line or Stores Supervisors as appropriate.

•Responsible to the Accountable Manager for the definition, implementation and follow-up of the appropriate procedures to comply with Aviation Safety and Quality Policy in accordance with the regulations as laid down in KCARS AMO Regulations.

•Ensuring that Quality Assurance Programs are properly established, implemented and maintained
