After I served as President of Sealy Painting Inc. for 18 years, the corporation closed. My husband passed away in 2007. My schedule has been busy a single mom, managing my investment properties and holding numerous positions for local charitable organizations since that time. I am a synergistic self-motivated leader. 09/1987 – Present: Personal Investment Properties Management
Leasing, managing, maintaining, renovating the residential properties I own/owned.
02/1990 – 05/2008: President of Sealy Painting Inc.
As a commercial paint contracting company, we specialized in electrostatic painting and grocery store remodels.
With a staff averaging 6 to 12 employees, I facilitated all facets of management, financial and administrative duties for the corporation.
05/1982 - /5/1985: Walgreens Store Manager
Responsible for the entire store operation excluding the pharmacy. (Accounting was performed at store level.)
The front end management included ordering and receiving merchandise, stocking, and merchandising.
Human Resource responsibilities included employee hiring, training, motivating, retention and termination.
Record retention, sales accounting, security, and safety for customers and employees.
01/1977 – 04/1982: Eckerd Drugs Store Manager
Began as a camera clerk at a new store opening.
Involved as part of a management merchandising group who traveled to different acquisitions or new store sets to preform complete store merchandise resets.
Promoted to assistant manager and then promoted to store manager in 03/1079.
Exceptional opportunities to participate in excellent training seminars, courses – related to security, safety, employee hiring training, motivating, retention and termination which were scheduled regularly. It was a great learning and growth period.

Charitable and Volunteer Pursuits:
03-2018 – Present: Lazy River Club, Inc. Board of Directors – Treasurer
I have implemented and maintained the Quicken accounting package for this subdivision. The A/R has collected approximately 85% of very delinquent accounts during this period. I am responsible for all financial administration.
02/2008 – 05/2023: Sealy Christian Food Pantry Coordinator
I served as a coordinator interviewing and qualifying clients to receive food distribution. Three of these years I served as the warehouse manager as well.
11/2008 – Present: First Baptist Church of Sealy Trustee
Oversee and conduct the church business
11/2006 – 2018: First Baptist Church of Sealy Chairman of Building and Grounds While Chairman of Building and Grounds a 1.4 million addition/renovation to the facility was approved. I oversaw the project from the beginning planning vision through construction completion.
