• Facilitated the creation of a plan to ensure the safety of stakeholders during Covid.

Currituck County School District Currituck, NC 2015 – 2020 Superintendent/CEO
Recruited to oversee a district of 10 buildings with 550 employees. Managed an annual budget of $45M.
• Delivered the highest achievement rates in the past decade.
• 9 of 10 buildings had met or exceeded annual goals.
• Expanded agency’s technology initiative.
• Procured grant funding to provide additional training opportunities.
• Within 2 months of hiring, initiated implementation of the MTSS process, 3 years ahead of mandated implementation date.

• Managed a budget of $20M for programs, materials, and staffing at 6 buildings.
• Collaborated in creating a child-care program which provided support and recreation activities from 3:00 to 6:00 pm daily.
• Helped write a $200K program grant, and once awarded, served as the first program director, overseeing all data gathering and evaluation to maintain continued grant funding.
• Served as the representative to community and service organizations including: Children First Council; United Way; Goodwill Industries; Mental Health & Recovery Board; Children’s Services.
