I am a Maintenance Manager in the industrial steel industry bringing 36 years of industrial maintenance Experience (13 in steel and 23 in paper). I’ve got the knowledge and drive to support multiple tasks and with a large team (60+) covering the needs of the Safety, the personnel and equipment, Being responsible for 7 active running lines and their maintenance needs. I’m also involved in the supply chain of tools, safe lifting inventory of items, and equipment to support. I’ve been a safety trainer through 30 of these years helping to create a strong safe team ready to perform. I’m dedicated and reliable only working for (3) major companies involving different titles and responsibilities with the last being the same facility under 2 different names and management styles. WORK EXPERIENCE:

Arcelor Mittal AMNS Calvert (1 AMNS Way Steel Drive, Calvert AL 36513) 12-2022 to present Maintenance Shift Manager, HDGL/Finishing Lines.

Duties: *Team daily safety responsibilities, *preforming shop floor audits with the team including the daily safety contacts, *Responsible for the maintenance of (4) coating lines (Galvanized dipped & Pickle) and (3) finishing lines, along with limited infostructure responsibilities. *Setting up the daily shift work plan, and assigning work for the team, following up on the safe work practices, and QA segments of the work preformed *creating and finishing SAP work orders, entering work documentation, and all the needed information for the follow-up and reliability issues.

*Scheduling team time and attendance for a 24/7 schedule, correcting daily time issues and directing shift coverage for the teams. *Responsible for the team’s tool budget, this includes hand and electrical tools, rigging and lifting equipment also safety PPE and supplies. *Working with our planning teams on the needed correction and PM workorders including the personnel needed for the task. * Several other responsibilities working across our other departments.

Arcelor Mittal AMNS Calvert (1 AMNS Way Steel Drive, Calvert AL 36513) 08-2018 to 2022 Maintenance Coordinator III, HDGL/Finishing Lines

Duties: * coordinating the teams safety program for the daily operation and leading the team through our daily maintenance workorders. * Catching the calls for (7) lines dealing with the galvanizing processes, finishing equipment * working the team through correction workorders and PMs for the lines and entering all the needed information through SAP.

Lead Specialist Mechanical Maintenance Shift Operations, HDGL/Finishing Lines

Duties: * responsible for our Bld 2 equipment maintenance * Directing the need for the equipment through the planning teams and working with the shift teams and the Day maintenance teams in the completion of the work and the equipment quality within the lines including general maintenance and equipment reliability.
