I started out this journey with a mindset of bettering myself but have come to realize that no part about this journey has been about me. I have fell in love with taking care of my patients. To be an RN has taught me more about life and what life is suppose to be. Patient care is so necessary and rewarding. Job skills I posses are: charting (epic, cerner, cpsi, meditech) patient assessments, care plans, medications administration, PICC/PORT /central lines care and documentation, pt care, foley, caths, amputation care, pre/post op care, trach care, vent care, team communication and planning, etc. My patients have ranged from severe trauma to hospice care.

2020:Travel covid nurse in Acute care/ ICU/step-down (depended on where pt was housed): patient care in high acuity setting including trach, vent, hi-flow, medication administration, multiple IV fluids (combinations), patient plan of care was ever changing due to unknown treatment. Documentation, multi-care teams, physiotherapy when needed, patient and family comfort care.
2021-current: I have fought hard to get out of med-surge by pursuing every avenue from ICU, Step-down, Telemetry to ED Trauma. patient care in each of these jobs were different and required different training. TNCC (2024) being the last training.
