Sunflower Bake Shop, Perth 2018 – 2020 COVID lockdown

Performed a variety of services including front-end customer service, cashier, assistant baker, order taker. Trained in appropriate handling and cleaning of the bakery and everything in it. I am also a superb sandwich and soup maker. The bake shop had to close during the Covid lockdown, and the owner moved it to another town when the lockdown ended. I moved back home to Ottawa and began working from home.

Perth Food Bank 2018 – 2020 COVID lockdown

This food bank provided sit-down hot meals in their facility. I volunteered as a meal server and kitchen food prep. assistant three afternoons a week. We served approximately 150 people per meal.

This is a place where people come to feel good and have a good time getting there. On average, there were 1500 people coming through the doors every day. As an organized and self-motivated Assistant General Manager, I was able to turn this location into a prosperous location, motivate and retain employees and clients.
