WORK EXPERIENCE:
2015-current: All Safe Driving Clinic: At this position I own a driving school. I conduct clinical evaluations, and teach classes for defensive driving, shoplifting, substance abuse, and anger management and risk reduction.
2008-current: Middle Flint Behavioral Health: Social Service Provider I, Licensed: At this position I complete intake assessments for consumers needing mental health and substance abuse services, complete crisis intervention, and conduct individual counseling sessions.
2008: Behavioral Health Systems, Inc.: IFI Team Leader: At this position I supervised a team of bachelor’s and master’s level counselors in their counseling duties. I reviewed the session notes of my supervisees and conducted weekly telephone conferences. I was available for clinical consultation as needed with my supervisees.
2006-2008: YSI/Crisp RYDC: Social Service Provider II: At this position I completed crisis- and intake screening-related mental health evaluations and conducted individual counseling sessions for incarcerated juvenile males and females.
2007: Advantage Counseling, Inc.: IFI Team Leader: At this position I counseled male and female adolescents for mental health and substance abuse issues. I also supervised a staff of bachelor’s and master’s level counselors in their counseling work experience. I reviewed and completed supervisory paperwork.
2005-2006: YSI - Sawmill Academy/Joann Bridges Academy: Behavioral On-Site (BHOS) Therapist: At this position I conducted individual, group, and family therapy sessions with incarcerated adolescent females.
