English Instructor, University of the People (2016-2023)
Teach two online English Composition courses. The first, for non-native speakers, to foster English proficiency through analysis and synthesis of English fairytales and short stories, researching an essay topic, applying APA citations, and composing a five-paragraph essay, in preparation for the English Proficiency Exam.
The second course introduces students to the research process, utilizing critical thinking to produce a synthesized exploratory collegiate-level paper. Additionally, genre studies developed students’ analytical abilities and intellectual strengths. Provided detailed editing feedback.
Argosy University, Alameda, CA (2008-2018)
Provided tutoring assistance to undergrad and graduate students with their written assignments.
Served as a writing coach, provided editing and editing instruction and proofing services for graduate students with literature reviews and dissertation drafts.
