This is my first job. I entered in High school and worked for around 2 years. This gave great perspective into customer service and providing quick and easy solutions for each guest. Also learning people skills and verbal professionalism.
● Starting out I worked as a greeter, greeting guests at the front of the building and guiding them to their intended visitation. I also handled keeping a specific rotation with all salesmen, removing them from the roster when they were with guests.
● As a receptionist I handled all calls throughout the dealership, meaning I had to be informed of all departments in order to provide correct information. I worked along with all Salesmen and customers to make sure everything was mailed and/or no miscommunication was held. I lastly handled calls with banks or other small businesses when other staff members couldn’t get to it.
● As a Cashier I operated in the Service Department, collecting payment after an amenity was done to their vehicle. I also dealt with applying for insurance and importing that information into the insurance website. Working in Target taught me to be very efficient with my time and how to work in a fast paced environment. I was kept busy with cashiering and supporting customer service so I had to learn how to multitask along with making sure each task was completed correctly.
● With cashiering I handled checking out a customer with their items, as well as any follow up questions. I always worked effectively to maintain flow within the line to not cause a hold up.
● In Customer Service I handled returns, making sure returned items are put back in the correct place and most importantly resolving any customer complaints. I always tried my best to make sure all situations could come to a solution without having to involve any alternate parties.
