Work Experience
UMBC Baltimore County, Maryland
Software Engineer (Full-Stack) Dec 2023 - Present
• I designed and developed an Online Tutoring System, integrating distinct modules for Admin, User, and Backend to optimize interactions and management.
• I implemented the system’s Backend API using Express.js, crafted the Admin interface with Vue.js, and developed the Client Application through Nuxt.js, focusing on responsiveness and user experience.
• I managed data storage and scalability, initially employingMongoDBandlatertransitioningtoDynamoDBtoenhanceperformance.
• I hosted the application on AWS using Amplify for the Client side application and Elastic Beanstalk for the backend. EvON Medics Ellicott City, Maryland
Software Engineer (Full-Stack) May 2023 - Dec 2023 Project 1: Real-Time Fitbit Sensor Data Sync System
• Implemented real-time sensor transmission from fitbit to mobile app.
• This reduced average sync time from 10 minutes to less than 10 seconds.
• My role in this project was to come up with the initial design proposal, implement the solution and finally launch to production.
• I used Subscriptions in the AWS AppSync with GraphQL Endpoint along with Fitbit’s Companion Module.
• The updated sensor data, read from the Fitbit by the Fitbit App’s Companionmodule(via theMessagingAPI), is sent to the AppSync Endpoint through a GraphQL Mutation.
Project 2: Interactive Olfactory Training Interface
• Developed a user-friendly interface for an Olfactory Training application running on a Raspberry Pi.
• Leveraged the Kivy Python framework to design interactive UI modules that control the Raspberry Pi’s circuitry.
• Enabled precise control of the solenoid valves and air pump activation/deactivation within the Olfactory Training System through the user interface.
• Integrated user response recording into the UI, facilitating data collection for research and analysis purposes. Siemens Technology and Services Bangalore, India
Software Engineer (Full-Stack) Aug 2018 - Jul 2022 Project 1: Hearing Aid Control App
• Implemented features in a Hearing Aid mobile application to control different properties of earpiece device such as volume, programs, spatial organization using Xamarin.Forms.
• The application was implemented in the MVVM pattern for scalability, modularity and adherence to the SOLID Principles. Project 2: Telehealth System for Hearing Impairment
• Built real-time communication telehealth system for hearing impaired people.
• I implemented the Client- side in the Mobile Application using Xamarin.Forms. I implemented the Hearing Care Professional’s desktop application using WPF.
• I implemented backend using SignalR, Azure Web Services and MySQL for database management.
• Post general availability I monitored community feedback and cataloged issues. MAY 28, 2024 1
Siemens Technology and Services Bangalore, India
Software Engineer Intern Jan 2018 - Jun 2018
• Designed and developed a fault monitoring system for power transmission Grid, the tool was used by technicians for abnormality identification and resolution.
• The fault detection was based on patterns of unexpected Wattage values in a power grid obtained from the Fault Sensor Indicator device. The reports for technicians included a GPS location of the source of the fault.
• Created a dashboard for live fault monitoring, added graphs for analysis of fault history, frequency etc. Education
