During my time at PCSC, I have served patients in independent and assisted living, long-term care, and short-term rehab. My duties were to follow the goals of the IEP, planning appropriate interventions to attain goals, and documenting all sessions, as well as completing quarterly reports for all students on my caseload. I pushed in to a self-contained classroom weekly to provide a fine motor group activity.
MARCH 2019-MAY 2023
SCHOOL BASED COTA/L, UNION COUNTY SCHOOLS, UNION, SC
I provided occupational therapy services to students in pre-k-12 for four years. I collaborated with other services to develop a working schedule which allowed me to treat 30-35 students per week in four different schools. I formed appropriate relationships with students and staff to understand the needs of each child on my caseload, and then planned individual interventions to meet those needs. I relayed progress or regression information to the OTR each month, documented all daily sessions, and completed quarterly reports.
