A very safety conscious and detail oriented individual looking to maximize my skills in management and my dedication to being quality focused and driven. I have extensive experience in both leadership and training of small and large groups. I desire to utilize my experience and knowledge within the managerial capacity of General Motors.
Accomplishments:
At the General Motors Wentzville Assembly Plant in Wentzville MO. I redistributed 5 elements on 1 operation and 7 elements on another operation within my department in (GA) general assembly. This reduction downsized the total number of employees from 41 to 39 equating to a cost savings of the budget 1.8% or $130K a year. Also: At the General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant in Arlington TX. I put in place Quality Alerts on operations that I noticed where experiencing repetitive defects from the same operation on a weekly basis causing these units to be placed in repair status which increased the (float) meaning Saturday over-time for repairs. These QA’s decreased defects which helped decrease OT. Resulting in Company cost savings and continuous improvement Willing to relocate: Anywhere
