This is an app-based job. I take an order available within the app, then go to the store chosen. I am responsible for shopping for everything on the customer’s list that is available within the app. When I come across an item the store they chose has limited supply of, is out of, or the quality isn’t within the expectations of my customers or myself, I communicate that with my customers via the app and ask them about substitutions and buy those or reimburse them for the item I can’t get them. I can also pick up my customer’s prescriptions if they shop at a store with the pharmacist they go to as well. Once the order is complete, I have to make sure their items arrive safe and sound to their destinations and report the order as complete afterwards. Sometimes I shop for two or three customers at one time. I also verify the Identity of my customers if a prescription order or alcohol is on the list by having them show me their license and scanning it in the app to make sure I am not purchasing these things for someone with illegal and dangerous intents. CO-DIRECTOR, PORTERVILLE PREGNANCY CENTER, PORTERVILLE, CA 2019-2020 I was the client advocate. I greeted each person who came in for our services, reported the reason for their visit to the other Co-Director, then met with the client as a counselor or brought the needed forms to the peer-volunteer counselor that was there each day when it wasn’t me. Sometimes I would perform free pregnancy tests when requested, helped the client get baby food/formula, or diapers when needed; and if they came to get something from the “Mommy/daddy Store” we had at the center I took them in there and helped them choose items based on the amount of “mommy/daddy points” they had to spend each time they came in. I supervised the children in the cafeteria and in the school yard to insure ultimate safe and pleasant lunch and recess related activities. I also helped with bus duty on early dismissal days to make sure all the children got on the correct bus or picked up by their rides safe and sound. I helped with pulling the items from time to time, did inventory, and contacted the manufacturer companies when new shipments of their items were needed, informed customers when items were out of stock and back ordered and then contacted them again when the item was back in stock and available to order again.
