Machine Operator
SUS
Logansport, IN
(2005-2006)
I operated a machine press at the end of a die cast chamber assembly line where various parts were moulded onto metal sheets & cooled. I would then stamp/cut out the individual mouldings, sort and inspect the final part results, keeping track of any unacceptable ones such as broken, chipped, or incomplete and damaged parts that would be remoulded and then sort individual products & scrap the remaining metal Production Worker
Tyson Foods
Logansport, IN
(2002-2003)
Worked on the rib line where my main job was to quickly grab and sort all the big ribs from the smaller ribs that shot down to me through 2 huge shoots, one on both sides of me. I did this job mostly alone although it was a 2-3 man job because the personnel would walk away from their positions and just allow the product to overflow onto the floor which then became my responsibility to keep from happening. This is why I did not pursue a career here. There were no team players or supervision of the department I was placed in.
