A Little More About Me
My first job, I acquired at the age of 15. My motivation to enter the workforce and provide for myself I believe comes from growing up in a large yet split-style family setting. Altogether, I was one of ten and therefore well aware of the importance of learning to support myself and reduce the strain among my parents.
During my senior year of Highschool, the union my parents worked for at the local hospital, went on strike! After school I picketed with my parents but eventually picked up a part time job at the McDonalds restaurant which was conveniently located directly across the street from the hospital, and my parents' picket-line. I supportively participated in the strike after school, and before going into work where I did what I could to help provide for my family.
