Search: In my Artificial Intelligence course, I implemented several search algorithms for the Pacman AI project. I utilized Depth-First and Breadth-First Search for basic navigation, and advanced techniques like Uniform Cost Search and A* Search with Manhattan and Euclidean heuristics for complex pathfinding challenges. This project sharpened my problem-solving skills and Python programming, particularly in using abstract classes and priority queues. GhostBusters: In this project for my AI course, I developed an agent to track and capture ghosts in a Pacman-style game. My implementation included advanced AI techniques like particle filters and exact inference methods to estimate ghost positions based on noisy distance measurements. I designed agents that could update beliefs about ghost locations dynamically with each move, choosing actions based on these beliefs. This project not only enhanced my understanding of probabilistic inference and state estimation in dynamic environments but also improved my skills in Python programming and applying theoretical AI concepts in complex, real-time decision-making scenarios. Reinforcement Learning: I engineered a series of agents to determine optimal strategies for navigating complex environments, based on value iteration techniques. I implemented classic Value Iteration, Asynchronous Value Iteration, and Prioritized Sweeping Value Iteration to efficiently handle state transitions and rewards in a Markov Decision Process framework.
