Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Order stock as required, in a timely manner taking account of lead times. Monitor stock levels to ensure that minimum stock levels are maintained, and maximum stock levels are not exceeded.

Monitor expected future stock requirements using stock history/QLIMS.

Inform supervisor if minimum stock level is breached or suppliers’ delivery timelines/quality performance gives cause for concern such as price variances, non receipts of goods and supplier issues.

Train new starts within the department, ensuring they are trained as per the department training matrix.

On a monthly basis, ensure all cycle-counts are completed and stock histories for each stock area are completed.

Review historical inventory analysis each month to review and update minimum and re-order stock levels in agreement with the supervisor.

Deal with Inter-lab shipping requests when required, ordering required goods and shipping to other QLAB locations ensuring they are billed correctly.

Source and procure new stock items for new study launches as and when required following the new item sourcing

procedure.

Work closely with the Lab dept on all stock related issues to include pricing updates, delivery delays and any other Lab stock issues that arise.

Material Handler
