● As the full-time Maungakiekie Campaign Manager for the Green Party in the recent general election, I led and supported the development and delivery of campaign strategies and field activities. My role included:

- Mobilisation and management of volunteers: Recruited, trained, and motivated a team of volunteers to support campaign activities.

- Engaging the local community by building positive working relationships with local community groups and networks through attendance and participation at multiple events.

● My other gaps were for different reasons related to anxiety symptoms that I developed during high school.

● When I have been working and my Vitamin D levels have been normal - they have been for the last one and a half years with supplementation - I have been free of anxiety symptoms for three years. Post-election

● After the election, I did not apply for jobs straight away because I wanted to give my application for the

“Greens Parliamentary Community Engagement & Communications Advisor” role that was advertised in March the best chance.

As an election campaign manager, I supported the electorate candidate across various communication, events, and community engagement and activities. The role required strong leadership and management skills to ensure volunteers were effectively recruited and trained and that the candidate was appropriately briefed and prepared to speak at community events. ● Strategic communications: Managed candidate Facebook page (graphics required approval so were not practical), managed media relations, and purchased a digital billboard that was played 12,000 times.

● Organising events: Advertised and managed RSVPs for film fundraiser that made a $500 profit, ran door knocks, and ensured that the candidate was always well-briefed for each event.

● Increased party vote by 55%: Led a comprehensive campaign that surpassed national averages, increasing the Green party vote from 9% to 14% in Maungakiekie.
