This is the Cherokee Jeep Stamping and Assembly Plant

Direct Tool & Die makers, both in the die shop and on the press room floor. (This is a UAW union shop)

I direct all scheduling, repairs, preventive maintenance, engineering changes.

We have Class A exterior and interior dies. The dies weigh up to 80,000 lbs. This plant has Press lines

up to 4700 ton stamping capacity.

It's a WCM plant, where we are constantly striving to improve everything through Kaizens and

suggestions.

We direct all maintenance utilizing a TMS PM/Repair system.

The Die shop has both CNC Machine capabilities along with Manual Mills, Surface Grinders, Lathes. etc.

Supervise design engineers on engineering changes and new die designs for stamping and molds.

Directed Tool and die shops and a State-of-the-art CNC Machine Shop utilizing Mastercam software.

The CNC Machine shop had annual cost savings of $13 million in support of the stamping plants.

Create and write a successful PM program for all dies.

Track and correct Auto-CAD issues with dies as needed.
