Assessing the impact of Social Media content on Mega Urban Development Projects: Case of Port City, Colombo.
Research
The study addresses the critical question of whether citizens are well- informed about development projects and actively contribute to decision- making.
The study conducted five main types of analyses, including peak analysis, sentiment analysis, word co-occurrence analysis, word frequency and popularity analysis, and user analysis.
By highlighting the significance of public participation and communication strategies in influencing public opinion, this research adds to a deeper understanding of how social media content influences decision-making processes for mega-urban development projects.
