In a similar but smaller area of work i was allowed to put out orders for a higher number of tourists, being in this occupation i relied on being very dependent on my “mise en place” being that, moving food upstairs was a huge deal to ensuring everything was in its correct spot for service.

I learned to make sure orders are done quickly and properly to ensure everything flows correct. The food was consisting of typical bar foods but with the occasional special cultural twist, making sure fryers were the correct temperature along with the oven and flattop grill was a consistency. Along with their cleanliness.After shift was a cleanup and wrapup with proper labeling to ensure that the next crew was properly set up .
