Job Description:

Render personal services to bedridden clients (Includes elderly, minors disabled and psychotic clients) and provides in the activities for daily living like bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, urinals, and aiding in the mobility and caring for severely infirmed aged, disabled and mentally ill patients.

Provides personal care including transferring and transporting minor/ elderly clients and be able to provide care stipulated in the activities plan.

Assist medical staff in the basic life support and in administering medicine intake of clients and report cases of illness and unusual incidents.

Distributes clean clothes and linen and collects soiled ones.

Check the readiness for the use of specialist equipment.

Teaches and supervises able aged, disabled, and trainable psychotic clients in their assigned chores at the institution/ center.

Motivates and conducts basic counselling to clients in crisis regarding their expressed problems and prepared reports of behavior of the aged, minor, disabled and psychotics clients and reports same to supervisor, nurse on duty and social worker as the case coordinator

Supervises socio-cultural, spiritual, physical, and moral development of clients and conducts sessions of self-awareness and other spiritual activities, personal hygiene, good grooming, and personal safety.

Assist the admission of older persons, disabled, minors and mentally ill clients and provide necessary orientation on the house rules and help them settle into their institution.

Reports needed supplies and requisitions.
