Pastoral/Chaplain Experience
Protestant Pastor at various inner-city churches with a focus on Urban Ministry, spiritual revitalization and working with former offenders in transformational realization. ACPE Trained Chaplain having completed Clinical Pastoral Education at Hartford Hospital completed 2 Unites of CPE. Also served various ministries and clients at the Howard Street WMAC under the auspices of its Founding Superintendent Joe Nicholson.

Criminal Law, Evidence, American Judiciary courses in the department of Law and Police Science. Advisor to Pre Law Society. Provided legal assistance with organizations in strategic planning, organizational restructuring and the “Creative Visioning” process. Certified in HUD Approved Housing Program. Expertise in HUD Housing Counseling for pre-purchase program and foreclosure programs, housing education, financial education, public/private partnerships and marketing. Conducted Pre-Purchase Housing Counseling workshops for the City of Springfield, MA.
Nonprofit Management
Served as both Executive Director and assistant executive director in multiple organizations. Conducted organizational leadership, strategic planning and corporate governance consulting for all aspects of the organization. Preformed management and oversight of the business and infrastructure of a National Office as well as all 36 Chapters of the organization and managing its 501(C)(4) and 501(c)(3) operations. Also responsible for management of all professional vendor relationships including review and oversight of duties performed by outside counsel, external auditing and accounting firms. Worked as a liaison to various sections of local and regional government for the organization. Supervised 100 staff persons in 8 program areas; Health, Social Services, Early Education and Care, Athletics, Pre-and After School Programming, Successful Re-entry programs, Young Fathers initiatives and Safe Streets Safe Cities Program.
