I worked at a private hospital under the supervision of a family physician. I helped in running the out-patient sessions and assisted in performing minor medical procedures. My duties included taking the preliminary history, performing relevant physical exams, planning work up, interpreting lab results and helping make prescriptions. I also helped in maintaining the medical records, counseling and medical education of the patients regarding their medications and lifestyle modification where required.
