WDM counselors are expected to review medical documents with the client to assessor current as well as the appropriate next level of care (ASAM) client will be referred to. Supervising a team of 5 master level LADC’s (including myself) in an inpatient setting
(hospital based). Enter patients into State DAANES system. Complete Comprehensive Assessments,
treatment plans, and review treatment plan weekly with patient. Also work with patient, their families,
and multi-disciplinary team that includes medical doctors, occupational therapist, psychologist,
nurses, social works, and non-denomination chaplains to stabilize patients mental, physical, and
spiritual health prior to referring patients to next level of care.

services to clients stepping down to low intensity level of care. The treatment services are delivered in
concurrence with the policies and procedures outlined in 245G licensure requirements of the state of
Minnesota.
I was employed by Meridian Behavioral Health from 2009-2012, I returned to MBH September 2013 in the role of Clinical Assessment Counselor. I was promoted to Treatment Director at Lakeshore 2015. I was promoted to Treatment Director at Twin Town 2016. I briefly relocated to the state of Georgia in 2017. I returned to Minnesota in 2018.
