Unloads and verifies materials as they come into the department on a daily basis.

Ensures the accuracy of the paperwork that accompany material deliveries.

Receives the materials in the Great Plains software against the purchasing orders and invoices.

Evaluates, inspects, and identifies whether material received needs to be audited by QA before being placed into inventory, in accord with SOP safety standards and procedures. If material needs to be audited, responsible for tagging the item accordingly and placing it in the designated area. Once the item has been released by QA, responsible for physically moving the material to designated area in the stockroom.

Creates an efficient space utilization plan for stock storage, working with various departments to foresee any possible concerns and to ensure that stock rotation procedures are followed.

Assists with inventory management in the absence of the Stockroom Attendant.

Makes recommendations for improvements in the process flow of the department, participating in department meetings as necessary to address conflicts and to ensure accurate, smooth workflow.

Organizes multiple reports and various records of inventory stock, communicating with customers and other departments as necessary to ensure inventory stock is available in a timely manner.

Notifies management of shortages or other issues that could impact product availability.

Enters alphabetic and numeric notes into the Great Plains System following standard documentation requirements.

Ensures correct information is captured in the Great Plains system, e.g. doctor’s ID, patients’ names where applicable, type of order or request, etc.

Retrieves digital orders and verifies accuracy of the orders received.

Creates and enters data from work orders, as received via Microsoft Outlook.

Assists with pulling and organizing daily sales orders when needed, counting and packaging parts to customers specifications.

Assembles marketing/product kits to ensure department readiness for customer orders.

Invoices outgoing orders, verifying accuracy of outgoing inventory, calculating billing information, ensuring documented client information is correct, and noting any specific requests.

Prints shipping labels and attaches them to corresponding supply orders, checking account information on each label and ensuring pre-established shipping guidelines are followed.

Meters and weighs outgoing mail and checks that envelopes are properly sealed with correct postage.

Readdresses undeliverable mail bearing incomplete/incorrect addresses.

Ensures detailed research is performed on questionable orders; researches scanned past picking tickets, invoices, and packing slips for errors and communicates any discrepancies to internal customers and Supervisor/Manager in order to correct and solve any problems in a timely manner.

Maintains and evaluates records and documents, both physical and electronic, on a daily basis, utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Locates and corrects errors and solicits assistance from Team Leader or Supervisor/Manager when needed.
