Evaluated Raven Creek Field historical performance and designed a 100 well drilling program to install a line drive waterflood operation expected to generate over 10 MMBO additional Reserves for the Company. Company drilled 35 of the recommended wells and added over 200 BOPD to production. Injection operations for the waterflood were initiated in January 2023.
Prepared Company’s annual reserve report for 40 owned properties using PHDWIn to evaluate historical and projected future performance and calculate discounted and undiscounted value of the company.
Use IHS Market and RRC online record to develop historical performance for over 500 wells in more than 50 properties to develop historical performance. Use PETREL to view logs and develop OOIP and recovery for purchase evaluations.
Successfully recommend company purchase and installation of production field operations software GREASEBOOK. Develop basic data input for each property and get all pumper and executive users operational.

Originated the “centralized services” concept adopted across the enterprise. Consolidated 7 automation groups into 1 organization. Within 36 months, reduced costs by over $600M.
Amoco REGION ENGINEERING MANAGER, CHIEF ENGINEER 1980-1984
Led, trained, and developed 450 Professional Engineers. Fully responsible for all operations, drilling, reservoir, and facilities engineering organizations for Amoco’s largest producing Region and 7 District offices including P&L, budget, cost control, hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Developed and installed one of the USA’s first tertiary recovery projects in the Slaughter Field. Increased reserves by 250M barrels and PV15 by $175M.
