Vallourec Tube-Alloy (Feb. 2023 – Present)
: Responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental concerns at Vallourec Tube-Alloy Houma
Ensure proper chemical and hazardous materials removal and storage, including required manifests and documentation.
Ensure that Tube-Alloy meets all environmental regulations dealing with water runoff, hazardous material, and air quality.
Manage environmental and safety forms and reports generated by outside services.
Assist in managing reports for government agencies. (i.e., OSHA 300 log)
Oversee development, implementation, and conducting of training programs to ensure staff understanding, acceptance and compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
Perform Risk assessments on target areas.
Review Aspects and Impacts with assistance from Environmental Specialist.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Ensure Tube-Alloy First Aid Stations are properly maintained by overseeing vendor.
Ensure that all personnel have and use correct safety equipment for job being performed.
Manage the annual HSE training plan and coordinate training to fulfill the requirements, including coordinating the computer-based training.
Promote the development and sharing of HSE related best practices internal and external to the site.
Participate in the site change management processes (MOC – Management of Change) especially when changes have HSE impact.
Provide direct assistance and training to site management teams in all matters pertaining to HSE performance and regulatory compliance with the assistance of EHS Manager and Environmental Specialist
Manage system for HSE corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper care of injured employees and facilitate incident investigations. Acting as the liaison between employees, physicians, management, and Workers Compensation.
Assist with claims and reports for Workers Compensation
Plans and participates to risk analysis and risk prevention activities.
Familiar with OSHA regulations and interpret their application for the company.
Administer Accident Reporting System and complete appropriate logs.
Participate in the Safety Audit System utilizing results to apply to statistical data.
