Supervisor: providing technical training to aircraft structural/mechanical and Electrical employees. Training to include classroom-based, computer-based and practical hands-on projects. Performs Structural Modifications on Army Helicopters. Maintain aircraft metallic and non-metallic structures including fuselages, fixed and moveable flight surfaces, tail booms, doors, panels, decks, visual improvement, and fabricate and repair metallic and nonmetallic materials.
Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic/Cryogenics Leadman qualified in all phases of ground support equipment for fourteen years at NAS Meridian. Shift supervisor for the GSE division, a designated Quality Control Collateral Duty Inspector (QCCDI) for the Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic/Cryogenics, and Corrosion and Hazardous material/waste coordinator for the division.
Advise Director of all operational and technical matters pertaining to weather, rescue, and other topics. Educate government agencies of their roles in the disaster plans of the Emergency Operations Center. Aid in the planning process for local hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and other appropriate institutions. Prepare classroom presentations to appropriate institutions such as schools and civic clubs. Maintain liaison with volunteer services. Coordinate emergency forces in the event of an actual disaster. Maintain liaison with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. Serve as on-site coordinator in the absence of supervisor.
