Ecloud Technologies, Inc. – Montreal, Canada Founder 1990-1996

Founded this company to develop network products to solve last-mile network problems in remote areas, including wide-area wireless coverage utilizing OTA television channel unused bandwidth.

SR Systems – Atlanta, GA and Montreal, Canada General Manager 1987-1990

Appointed exclusive agent to sell BellSouth’s switched data service. Installed my equipment, trained customers and BellSouth staff.

My company led the international effort to break IBM’s stranglehold on communication to IBM mainframes.

Developed the first operational SNA PC-to-mainframe network product, gained international acceptance of our design, broke the IBM monopoly, sold the design to DCA.

Protocom Devices Inc. – New York City Executive Vice President 1984-1987

I raised $7.5 million financing from the NY-NJ Port Authority and Merrill-Lynch Ventures to start this early network switch manufacturer.

Headed sales, set up U.S. and international distribution.

Created the sales backlog that made it possible for the company to go public in four years.

North American Philips – New York City Manager of Telecommunications Engineering 1982-1984

Headed the telecom engineering team of this $2.5 billion annual sales conglomerate at HQ in NYC.

Managed the turn-up and operation of a new national private switched network employing custom AT&T switches, connecting 600 plants and offices. Managed a dedicated 16-person AT&T team.

Promoted to North American Product Manager for all Philips worldwide data communications products. Set up a national sales operation, sold to such customers as AT&T Bedminster, French government, CIA.

Packet-switching equipment then was forbidden in the monopoly Bell System. I broke through that wall, was the first to sell and deliver packet switching equipment within Bell, to AT&T Headquarters Labs.

Provide cloud communications services to 55 Rotary clubs in northern Virginia.

Organized executive seminars for Citibank, NY-NJ Port Authority, International Paper Company.

A national seminar presenter for AT&T, touring to introduce new technology to major accounts.
