Collaborated with the Director of Maintenance for purchase orders for new supervisor vehicles and overall maintenance of the fleet.

Served on committees as a liaison between political, state, and county officials to ensure safe transportation of patrons in Prince George’s County in compliance with regulations in the federal Department of Transportation. Achieved this process through Public Hearings discussing ridership, logistics, demographics and ideology directly from the public and patrons we serviced.

Served on various state committees to develop new routes and joint transportation ventures between Northern Calvert County and Prince George’s County.

Briefed the General Manager and the County Officials of inclement weather situations, and developed various transportation alternatives for the inclement weather service to the general public, while maintaining fiscal and budgetary responsibility as it pertains to overtime and the snow removal process.

Managed a $20,000,000 dollar budget assisting the General Manager consisting of the “Maintenance Department” which houses the entire transportation fleet for Prince George's County The Bus. Managing and reducing overtime by 10 percent, during a nationwide crisis for bus drivers.

Developed a crisis intervention program designed to reduce the percentage of customer service complaints. I was able to reduce complaints by 15 percent.

Supervised contract negotiations between the bus drivers’ union, and contract negotiations and grants with government officials from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Responsible for adherence to DOT standards for drug testing and CDL Licensing for all drivers of The Bus fleet.

Developed safety forums for the drivers to reduce the accident rate. The accident rate was reduced by 2 percent as a result of these training forums.

Supervised a team of transportation professionals to relieve the department from a year corrective action mandate. I was able to relieve the corrective action within a 5 month period.

Facilitated new vehicles, monitor federal and state law mandates regarding pupil transportation, MSDE audit preparation, drug and alcohol testing, licensing training and qualification.

Served as communication liaison between political and state officials to ensure safe transportation of students in Prince George’s County in compliance with regulations in the state of Maryland.

Served on various state committees to develop new rules and regulations for transportation outlined in Annotative Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR), and Federal statues and regulations. Conducted and spoke as a facilitator in the summer annual transportation conference for the whole state of Maryland.

Briefed the Chief of Supporting Services and the Superintendent of schools during inclement weather situations, and developed various transportation models for the Superintendent to transport students while maintaining fiscal and budgetary responsibility.

Managed a $105,000,000 dollar budget consisting of the “Central Garage” which houses the entire transportation fleet for Prince George's County Schools.
