Summary of Experience:

-Decorated Army veteran who served as an information technology and communications specialist. Upon my discharge (Honorable) from the U.S. Army, I became a consultant, communications engineer working on the Secure Network and Switches for the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) Maintained a TS/SBI//SCI security clearance.

-More than 15 years’ experience working as a Functional/Manual Systems Tester and Quality Assurance Analyst. + 3 years Automation/Selenium Experience in planning, implementation, and testing of a wide range of integrated systems valued up to $400 million.

-Assisted in the Implementation of Multiple States with Medicaid Insurance, including Integrated Eligibility Determination and other associated programs (SNAP, TANF) etc.

-Experience with Full Life Cycle testing, including functional, integration, stand alone, regression, system, stress, smoke, ad-hoc, and exploratory.

-Supported the State of TN as they transferred the Eligibility Determination System (TEDS) to the AWS Cloud from ‘On-Prem’. Validated application, infrastructure and security support of Worker, Member and Partner Poral applications, ensuring they performed in the Cloud exactly as it did ‘On-Prem’.

-Implemented major system enhancements to modernize the Tennessee Long-Term Support Services program by running Online, Batch, Functional Testing, Ad-Hoc as well as regression testing methods.

-Member of the test team that installed the original online version of Medicaid for the State of Oregon. 10 years later, I was selected to the test team to update that program and add ACA. This was the largest I.T. Project for the State ever. +$400 Million.

-As part of a 40 person QA team, I helped a major freight forwarding company implement a single UI than combined their multiple businesses, which were in 60 countries. I was selected to be to the sole QA assigned to the launch team. We went to Hyderabad India, where I was set up in a room with dozens of developers. I wrote up defects on any bug that occurred during the launch, and a developer would work on it in real time. After I validated the fix, it went into the release. The first country (Amsterdam) launched successfully. $400 Million project.

-Worked for the State of New Mexico as an employee and later as a contractor. While there, I developed the EDI maps for the 837, 834, along with the replies that were approved by the State. This skill was self-taught. Later I worked with the largest MCO in the state to get their EDI program up and running.
