As a healthcare professional, my objective is to skillfully draw blood from patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. I am highly trained in the proper techniques for venipuncture and use sterile equipment to prevent infections. Additionally, I am committed to maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to strict protocols for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials. Experience

Through my volunteer work as a substitute teacher, I have learned the importance of patience and compassion towards others. I am currently taking phlebotomy classes, where I am gaining valuable skills in interacting with patients and putting them at ease when they are feeling anxious.

I am excited to be receiving my certificate in May and am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and interests in this field, as it is my passion.

Next on my list of educational pursuits is Radiology, which I will begin studying in August, thus further enhancing my experience and expertise. August 2012 - May 2016

Responsibilities:

As a phlebotomy technician, my primary objective is to collect blood samples from patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This involves using proper techniques to draw blood, labeling, and transporting the samples for testing, and maintaining a sterile and safe work environment. I value productivity and efficiency in my work and strive to complete all tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Additionally, I understand the importance of clear communication and collaboration with colleagues and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Communication

In my previous job, I was able to demonstrate my excellent communication and problem-solving skills by effectively resolving a workplace issue. I approached the situation calmly and objectively, listening to all parties involved before proposing a solution. Through my clear and concise communication, I was able to gain the trust and cooperation of everyone involved, leading to a successful resolution. This experience has strengthened my confidence in my ability to handle challenging situations and work collaboratively with others to find effective solutions.

Leadership

I had the opportunity to showcase my leadership skills when I was entrusted with training a newcomer in my team. I not only provided them with a comprehensive overview of the project and its objectives but also ensured that they were able to understand the work process effectively. I was patient, empathetic, and approachable throughout the training period, and I made sure to address any doubts or queries they had. Thanks to my efforts, the newcomer was able to integrate seamlessly into the team and contribute to the project's success. References
