The Feeding Manager, reporting to the Disaster Operations Mass Care Chief, is responsible for oversight of the Red Cross meal program, scheduling, staffing, food quality and safety to 36 hotel (non-congregate shelter) sites, collaboration with community partners/food vendors, including data Integrity and reporting, invoice reconciliation, collaboration with the National American Red Cross Invoice and Payment division, recordkeeping, and provision of meals to Red Cross clients displaced by the 2023 fires in Lahaina. As of April 2024, the American Red Cross, having sheltered over 7.600 fire survivors, along with community partners, has served over 1.4 million meals in one of the largest disaster operations known.

Facilitated the development of educational materials (fitness manual, nutritional manual, and health tips) that promoted an overall culture that valued health. Represented SFFD on the multi-agency CCSF Shape Up at Work Task Force.
Participated in the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) Vaccination Program during County emergency under supervision of the Office of the Department Physician. Administered field vaccinations to department members, and recorded data.
Participated in the SFFD Tuberculosis Surveillance Program. Administered tests, interpreted results, provided referrals, and recorded data.
