EXPERIENCE

WAREHOUSE MANAGER, MAGNUS CLEAN; FRISCO, TX — JAN 2021- APRIL 2024

I was promoted to Warehouse Manager after about a year and a half. I was certified twice on Dangerous Goods handling and preparation. Took over all aspects of Shipping and Receiving, including setting up and tracking all LTL shipments. Built good relations with the truck drivers who went out of their way to help me. I created training plans for the new employees a long with maintaining a daily incoming/outgoing log with Lot information. Trained new employees and oversaw any ongoing Assembly projects. Scheduled PM on equipment such as the forklift and wrapping machine. Also lead the quarterly cycle counts.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE, MAGNUS CLEAN; IRVING, TX — JUNE 2019- JAN 2021

Started at a chemical warehouse after moving to Texas. Passed the Dangerous Goods training required to handle Haz Mat. along with Forklift re-certification. Stored and pulled daily shipments for LTL and UPS Ground. Adopted new organization methods with colored tape and signage. Cleanliness and order are very important to me and allow the department to be more efficient. Created SOPs for everything we did.

MAIL CARRIER, USPS; FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA — APRIL 2016- MAY 2019

Drove Postal vehicles and delivered mail for the Post Office 6 days a week. Sorted mail/magazines for daily routes. Performed daily safety checks on vehicles. Worked in Collections when not assigned a route. This included driving the large 2 Ton trucks and taking bulk mail/packages to the main Hub.

ORDER FULFILLMENT SUPERVISOR, MICROVENTION; ALISO VIEJO — DEC. 2008-JAN. 2016

I worked as the shipping supervisor for more than 7 years. I was in charge of all of the Finished Goods. I processed the large international shipments that require special paperwork for the particular country (i.e. Cert of Origin, NAFTA, SLI’s, SDS, Commercial Invoices/BOL’s etc.). Cleanliness and order was always a top priority and we adopted the 5S system for our warehouse that we used daily to keep things in organized and in the correct location. We used the UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager to ship up to 150 small packages a day as well as a few International shipments daily. Planning out the busy times for me was critical for our success as the end of the month was hectic. I also maintained the training records for the group and made sure we were up to date. I met with Customer Service twice a week to go over the open orders and discuss any special requirements (Customer’s invoice etc.) that the customer may have. This really helped out departments work well together and helped me plan the shipments so we have the time, space, and people that we need to get the orders out correctly as planned. Weekly, we would perform a routine cycle count on a products to make sure their aren’t any discrepancies. If there were any I would investigate and correct the issue. Also we would do a full physical inventory annually. Teamwork is key to a strong department so I like to lead by example by staying late or whatever else we need to complete our tasks daily and monthly.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR, HK SURGICAL, SAN CLEMENTE, CA — JUL. 2005-DEC. 2008

I was promoted to Supervisor to be charge of managing warehouse staff, visual inspection of incoming product which included working closely with Quality Control, and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments both domestically and internationally. Same duties as the previous position, but now I was in charge of all Shipping and Receiving. Adherence to FDA and ISO standards by organization and maintaining proper procedures and training records was of great importance. We used UPS Ship manager to do anywhere from 30-80 packages a day. Passed all audits from FDA.

WAREHOUSE CLERK, HK SURGICAL, SAN CLEMENTE, CA — NOV. 2004-JUL. 2005

I worked in a large warehouse that specialized in Liposuction equipment and general surgical products. Stocked the shelves in FIFO order and checked for expiring product and preformed routine cycle counts. I was certified on the stand-up reach forklift that we used everyday. I made sure it was left charging at the end of the day and scheduled the routine Maintenance. Also worked on the final assembly on the non-sterile operating room pads, including heat-seal and/or adhesive tape. This was performed in a cleaned controlled environment where quality was the top priority.
