Vestnes Ocean AS: LMG 80-DEH Double ended Ropax ferry’s (Three New build in Singapore SCM yard.) Customer: Norled AS. Norwegian ferry owner. Zero emission battery powered 3 Ropax identical ferries. Built on a LMG Marin As. Design. This 84 m long multi deck double ended ferry is designed for the safety and comfort of passengers and crew with a capacity of 300 persons as well as 80 cars or a combination of up to 10 cars and 10 trailer trucks.

Site Progress reporting and planning. Critical line completion for company milestone interim payments. Co-ordaining on site a multinational team, to complete the internal outfitting of all the ferries, to Final completion, of all compartments, hand over to the SCM Tuas yard, and Norwegian owner. All three ferries now in service. Jan 2016 to March 2020- Construction Manager/Engineer. S.H. PROJECT SERVICES LTD.- Private owned company. Working on various local Batam projects. Giving assistance with on-site construction projects, Vessel Surveys, and inspection projects reports. Preparation of work procedures, method statements for working teams to complete the work scope. Recent work: off hire protocol for offshore cable carousel and loading gear after function testing onboard MV Nostag 10. Transfer by crane, to M/V Melissa in Batam. Sea fastened all equipment, and loaded for transport to Norway Drammen yard.

November 2014 to Sept 2015- Construction Manager

ASL Marine / Representing client Teras Offshore – for the Regeneration of two, three legs Jack up rigs.

“Atlantic Tiburon” 1 & 3 (Altamira México)

Part of a new owner Task force team sent from Batam/Singapore to engage in re starting, a project that has been dormant for over 2 years

“Atlantic Tiburon 3” Motivate original crew members to overhaul and repair and re commission, Main engines. Emergency generator. All the required pumps and equipment. Overhaul the jacking system and prove to surveyor vessels jacking capabilities in readiness to move vessel. Completed all items listed by ABS surveyor to obtain a temporary load line certificate for rig move to new location. Completed all LOC Warranty surveyor’s vessel insurance list and tank steel repairs for vessels towage preparation. Atlantic Tiburon 3 is now prepared and ready to be towed to new location for updating & class repairs, waiting for owner’s instructions for new location.

“Atlantic Tiburon 1”-Original owner Management and Local yard workforce having burnt out large portions of the hull, refitting a large proportion of un-welded bottom plates affecting every tank thus leaving the vessel unable to jack down. Main objective to Identifying repair work faces, allocate on site steel for shot blast/paint as per UT thickness reports. To identify a Local subcontractor, and materials to carry out the repairs to ABS standards. For them to install new welded plates to hull, so vessel can be jacked down and brought to quay side. July 2013-Aug 2014

Mechanical /Piping Lead Eng. vessel- “Teras Sunrise” (ex L206 “Nora”- Master Marine) Part of the Commissioning team for the final Phase on the re-generation of the 4 leg jack up Vessel “Teras Sunrise” with 160 bed accommodation to ABS classification. Based at ASL Marine Batam.Tanjung Uncang.Indonesia. Main duties: To have a lead role to oversee and co-ordinate all commissioning mechanical/pipework activities working to the critical path plan, to final handover of the vessel. Review packages for preparation of startup of all systems. Review construction modifications and prepare check sheets, post punch lists to all local subcontractor trades and vendors, liaise with QA Qc on the progress of commissioning activities from MC to PC. Attend daily permit meetings, to review and co-ordinate manpower prior to system change and start up. Undergo sea trials, and Successful final full jack up trials. Clear all Commissioning Mechanical/ Piping ITR’s. Close out all customer site instructions to final handover.

January 2012-May 2013

Project Mechanical Engineer.

Contracted to L.M.O Marine Consulting. Vessel located at “Marco Polo” yard Batam Indonesia. Overseeing a 50 mtr, 1180 Gross tone anchor handling vessels, undergoing a First 5-year survey from being launched. “MP “Vantage”, requiring an ABS renewal certification for class that included; Shot blasting/painting. Hull survey, mechanical survey, Safety equipment surveys. All open tanks to be surveyed, after working a bare boat charter in Australia. Attend daily permit meetings to co-ordinate subcontractor work load. Work included; Hull repairs, welding and x ray of new inserts. The removal and replacement of pipework and water pumps. The servicing of injectors and governors on all Engines. Full strip down of both Cummings axillary Generators, renewing all worn parts, Main engines Niigatar strip down for survey, renew main bearings/liners. Renewing inner and outer Z propeller seals and bearings, Re-commission both engines with full Mechanical Completion Signing of with ABS. April 2009 December 2012

Master Marine AS. Vessel L205, “HAVEN” (NEW BUILD) Construction Manager

Representing the client overseeing the construction and company HSSE policies are adhered to and final handover of a state-of-the-art Safe jack up accommodation vessel, a safe haven for offshore employees. For Conoco Philips Ekofisk field a versatile 4 leg jack up vessel built in ‘Batam Indonesia at the Dry dock worlds ‘Grahar’ yard. The “HAVEN.” A jack hotel with 447 single cabins. The service jack’s unique design offers increased stability and meets the 10,000-year North Sea wave criteria. The crew accommodation fitted out to ‘Norsok’ standards. The 20,000-ton hull to ABS/DNV class.

As Construction Lead for the first part of the project, main duties were controlling subcontractors on site, preparing work fronts, following up fabrication and installation work scopes, working with design engineers and implementing on site changes, reporting all site delays that may affect the plan and critical path. Attending construction weekly meetings with client and subcontractors, preparing weekly status report. Attend safety meetings review HAZOP reports. Deputizing for the construction manager when necessary, and reporting daily progress. On both projects L205, “Haven” & L206 “Nora.” Promoted to Construction Manager to complete the second phase in Eydehavn Norway were the hotel unit, Heli- deck and office module, lifeboat and cranes were loaded out. The vessel was mechanical completed with jacking trials satisfactory accepted and handed over to OSM Offshore. All sea fasting completed the vessel is now jacked up in position in the great Ekofisk field in the Norwegian section. March- 2008 to March 2009

Cleveland Bridge (UK)

Piping Engineer.

Represent the client for the topside build & integration to the vessel “SEADRAGON OBAN B “semi-submersible sixth generation drilling rig to” D.N. V “& “Norsok” standards. Duties include insisting on project Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. Attend Hazop reviews and assist in closing outstanding actions. Checking the materials against the SFI codes and ship/rig ASME B31.3 Spec.Using” Navis works 3D” software Working with design and engineering on all changes that may impact the plan and cause delay to the project. Co- ordinate timely delivers of deliverables to site, and overseeing site fabrication and pipe supports, Prepare Test packs for testing and hot oil flushing and chemical cleaning of Hydraulic and lube oil pipework to winches and main engines. Prepare punch lists for commissioning pipe work after re-instated completed. April 2006 – February 2008

Nemoc Ltd, Hired to All Seas, "Keppel Verolme" (HOLLAND) Piping Discipline Manager

Representing All Seas Coordinating the six piping subcontractors for the conversion of the Bulk carrier “Greevien” to the"AUDISIA". A Pipe laying vessel to mechanical completion to sail away. Engineering from a Babcock design. Overseeing and liaising with Babcock’s engineering personnel design changes and pipe clashes on a daily basis and deal with on-site decisions. Attending daily construction /safety meetings, with the vessels area managers. Responsible for on-site decisions, for all work faces, and work flow. Fabrication of all workshop, and onsite spools, Review drawing changes coordinating piping and structural activities during a ten-week sea trial program. Liaising with commissioning management teams, organizing the hot oil flushing and chemical cleaning, to the final completion and hand over of the vessel.

Swan Hunters, Newcastle upon Tyne (NEW BUILD)

Piping Engineer.

Part of the piping team building two new troop ships. The ALSL 7000 class. M.O.D vessels. Duties included work pack planning of sub block sections of fabricated, and installed pipe work. Progressing to Ring build sections. With final ship build assembly of 17 fabricated units containing piping systems, including the LQ and wheel house sections. Engineering all modifications and problem solving on the project. Including the closer of mechanical completion DACS for the Commissioning of all pipes systems, after pressure testing of systems on the critical path to live systems.

Complete successful sea trials and handover to MOD personnel both vessels. July 2001 - January 2003

High Pressure Parts Superintendent (Power plant and energy)) Enron Wilton Power Station - boiler 6. Working with an integrated team on a planned overhaul and re-startup of the moth-bald boiler 6. Duties included pre-planning of overhaul work, formation of work packs and Health and Safety risk assessments. Coordinating the activities of a multi-discipline work force, daily progress reports and meetings through certification and final handover. General Forman

Roche Products, Dairy, Scotland. Responsible for the installation of piping systems on the Vitamin C modernization program. Coordinating planning and instructing piping supervisors and plating supervision of a multi skilled work force up to 250 men, with 11 foremen. Construction involving fabrication, installation and testing of site pipe work. Final handover to Roche through Foster Wheeler. General Forman

Raytheon engineering & Construction. Responsible for the installation of plant and vendor. Pipe work to the HRSG No 3 boiler. -Coordinating and planning the activities of pipe work and supports with a multi discipline workforce of 100 men and 7 foremen. Responsible for over viewing test packs, and test procedures with client’s safety department. Ensuring testing procedures are carried out correctly, through to mechanical completion, and final handover.

Representing the client working with an integrated team co-coordinating pre-fabrication of pipe work and pipe systems for pipe racks, Modules, and top side packages, engineering field clashes. Draughting of all field changes. Identifying material shortages, Monitoring pipe testing for the client with Lloyd’s class. Continued working offshore with construction team, as team leader and permit coordinator to achieve first oil targets. and final handover.

Promoted to Construction Superintendent for offshore rig “JANICE A” (Kerr McGee). Co-coordinating construction and commissioning requests for offshore hook up aboard the vessel, ensuring “first oil and Gas” targets were achieved, and all punch list items were cleared.
