Plant Reduction Gold Plant

I have all the experience, and service and on the job training for the last 14 year in a Gold Plant environment as a Supervisor in Finance, Sibanye-Stilwater, Cook Plant, Randfontein. (C5).

I run the whole finance office alone in the Plant, from filling to the Review meeting with the CEO and CEF, nobody assisting me.

I know how reagents work from dozing to why over or under. I know the questions to ask the metallurgist, there is nothing you can teach me. To work out weekly consumptions for forecasting as well as providing and what to pay. Not anybody can do have the knowledge to do regents, this come with years of experience. The small things that a person get only from years experience to know. Reagents is also your highest consumed cost per month and therefore need to be looked after.

I did check the labour on overtime also monthly.

I did the stores, forecasds with the foreman weekly, and monthly (one on one), budgets monthly, and cost meetings once a week with the plant manager and the CEF. I manage the whole meeting, from presenting to the last answer where needed. I controlled all the foremans budgeds on buying and spending and saving.

I also control all the creditors accounts and pay and reconsile it. Kept the companies satisfied when the need info on their accounts, what we need to pay them. Made provisions monthly if needed.

I did the petty cash for what ever is needed asap. Balansing it monthly.

Overheads was also manage by me.

I did the budgets yearly from sitting with the foreman compiling his budget for the year to punching it into the system SAP and balance.

I send out cost reports weekly, doing forecast, and actuals and cost meeting when done.

I compile the month end accounds, paying, reconciling, providing.

I compil the month end Review report that went to the stakeholders and management all by myself, the finance manager only signed off, he did not help with the input.

I went to the review meeting at month end and precent my plant all by myself.

My cost per month consists of the following:

•Stores R6m

•Reagents R10m

•Contractors R6m

•Overheads R2m

•Total cost R32m

•Profit or Loss depends on the producsion and the grade.
