Receiving area:
• Receiving mailers, scanning the mails, mails in envelope.
• check the specimens with quality, birth date, sample date, sample time, birth weight, cutoff date should not >14 days of samples submission date, unsaturation for initials also works on repeats, apply 1st and 2nd barcode and separate the top copy.
• punch the specimens for initial, unsaturation and repeats.
• daily tally, count the kits, work on tray keys, make a space for the kit, filling the kits,
• Filling IEM-3, make a box for kit and give accession number of start to end, year and month, box number on the box.
• Daily and weekly maintenances of punching machines, clean the machines,
• Weekly flush the eye wash, clean bench space
• Data entry for a top copy
MS LAB:
• Record the temperature for trines freeze, humidity of lab, take nitrogen and argon reading, refill wash solvent and flow solvent.
• punching retest if needed, take out EWS, controls, reverse pipette training, place transfer plate and punching plate on their location, punching controls and CDCS.
• Make EWS, IS standard, wash the cone.
• print the barcodes for diet management,
• work on diet management-check birth date, quality, >14 days of unsaturation specimen, gender, make a call if needed
• rinse the pipette before using it and open the file which are going to use for transferring the samples.
• create, import, and print a worksheet by the instrument, check the repeats if anything is missing while punching.
