Operations support Engineer February 2022 – Present

Lead and delivered successful turnaround as the Process engineering Focal point for a Cogeneration unit. Inspected vessels like de-aerators and steam drums while working MOC's to completion.

Conducted unit experiments and equipment studies such as a deaerator efficiency study to come up with cost saving projects/MOCs to reduce Opex for the production module and provide dollar value.

Provided troubleshooting and operations support in my unit as situations arose. I monitored data from trends, information from shift reports to determine irregularities in the process such as faulty equipment, or changes in process conditions and executed solution scenarios with the help of other disciples as needed for these issues.

Process & Improvement Engineer July 2021 – February 2022

Leading a capital cost project initiative to improve the turnaround time & shutdown frequency of our plant which would increase how much product was produced over a three-year period and reduced maintenance cost for the company.

Developing a new and alternate process which improved the catalyst yield at the plant; and improved our solvent recovery system which helped improve waste output at the chemical plant.

Upstream Process Engineer Intern June 2020 - August 2020

Developed safety register for process valve devices and procedures to be practiced in accordance with BP safety guidelines on high capital projects in offshore natural gas platform.

Oversaw oil well maintenance on BP’s cassia platform project off the coast of Trinidad while working with electrical, and structural engineers.

Provided ad hoc support in the delivery and commissioning of equipment for project start up when needed using process design software like ASPEN HYSYS.

Oversaw and managed the complete oil and gas fracking process from drilling and wireline to production enhancement/refining.

Designed and created a hands-free tool to be used by field professionals in hydraulic fracturing to improve safety in the company.
