ALS/Resolvion
Chief Information and Technology Officer, Partner
July 2015 thru July 2018

American Lending Solutions
Chief Information and Security Officer, Board Member, and Founding Partner
2008 thru July 2015
One of four original founding partners
From original founding to merger with competitor, grew from four partners and three employees to approx. 50 employees in facility located in Charlotte, NC.
Primary Architect and Developer of the Wombat System noted above
oManaged over 2,200 automobile repossessions monthly for national and regional lenders
oSoftware was revolutionary in nature – instead of the business utilizing multiple in-place platforms provided by several companies, Wombat performed real-time management of platform data via API and presented a single, comprehensive view to employees.
oSystem was able to acquire consumer NPPI data from multiple sources using secure methods that removed direct employee requests on remote platforms.
oImplemented secure data handling and user tagging/identification methods that kept data highly secure – to date, system has never been a victim of a security breach and has never failed a client annual security audit.
Responsibilities Included:
oDesign, Implementation, and support of all software infrastructure

oSupervised management of Microsoft SQL Server cluster and supporting systems
oManaged/produced monthly financial and business operation reporting
oResponsible for interviewing of potential IT and some management-level employees, and making hiring decision for IT personnel
Evolution of System: Wombat was designed to be an evolving modular system that integrated a set of highly diverse platforms used throughout the industry into a single view, bringing huge efficiencies as a result. The system began as tracking platform for skip tracing work, and over the first few years evolved into a real-time hub for national repossession work with links to every major platform used by our clients and agents. The system provided real-time links to billing systems for major clients, our own internal accounting software, systems for requesting consumer reporting, and other industry-specific requirements in a compliant manner. I was the original architect for Wombat and the sole programmer for the system through 2012, at which time a junior developer and other IT staff members were added to our team. During COVID, our team was reduced to a team of four plus myself, managing east and west coast facilities and managing a quickly developed remote infrastructure for the majority of our staff. The team was restored in size post-COVID as business resumed and employees returned to work.
Reason for Leaving: Corporate merger and infusion of private equity resulted in new company, continued with resultant company as CIO and Chief Security Officer (and continued as Partner).

oRegular annual production and updating of 1, 3, and 5 year forward-looking enterprise business models used for borrowing and business management purposes
oRapid system software licensed to car dealerships throughout the state, provided technical support
Evolution of System: The first subsystem for Rapid was the loan management system and was originally written using Superbase, a DBase-compatible database and development language running on Windows 3.x based systems. In early 1994, the entire system was re-written in the then-brand new Visual Basic object-oriented language and using an MS-SQL based database for Windows 95. The system was then subsequently converted to VB6 and Windows XP in 2002, and management for large-scale repair work was added at that point. I was the sole developer for the Rapid System through 2004, at which time a junior developer was added to provide continuity for the business.
Reason for Leaving: Conditions in Florida primarily caused by post-9/11 issues ultimately caused the company to cease operations. (I was requested by creditors to continue with the company and assist in the orderly shutdown of operations and collection of remaining collectable loans over the course of 18 months, which was completed.)
