• Purchases raw materials including preforms, pallets, tier sheets, and top frames.

• Conducts quality audits to assure that quality systems/processes are being followed by plant operations personnel. Takes corrective action as appropriate.

• Champions programs for external and internal PPM reductions to reduce the cost of quality and improve productivity.

• Acts as a coach/mentor to quality/production personnel to develop skills and understanding in statistical methods, i.e. SPC, process capability to realize quality improvement.

• Communicates with and visits customers to understand the performance of our products and evaluate their production process to enhance performance. Takes leadership role in resolving customer issues.

• Facilitates root cause corrective action on processes found to be producing non-conforming product to prevent re occurrence.

• As a manager, assures all plant safety/accident prevention policies are adhered to.
