Work Experience

VRT Coordinator I

CRST

August 2023 to Present

Scheduled tows, service and preventative maintenance for all of the trucks, trailers and various other equipment for CRST. Took incoming calls and triaged driver needs, assessing if tractor and/or trailer could make it to the nearest shop, needed mobile repair, or needed a tow. Determined appropriate shop for repair and followed up with shops and drivers to check on status of repair so the team could keep things moving as efficiently as possible. Approved estimates or asked questions about charges as needed. Account Executive

Infinity Investments – Cedar Rapids, IA

May 2021 to August 2023

Nov 14- 2022 – August 2023: Subcontracted for Roadside Assistance. Dispatched tow trucks for stranded motorists, some of whom did not know where they were and/or had become stranded in unsafe locations. If motorist was in an unsafe location I had to locate a number for local law enforcement and ask them to assist with creating a more safe environment before working on finding service for the customer. Negotiated pricing with providers to keep cost of service within customers’ benefit limit.

May 2021 to November 2022: Subcontracted for Rubicon LLC. Scheduled various trash pick ups such as extra pick ups, on call pick ups, and reconciled missed pick ups. I also worked with our customers to have containers of all sizes delivered and removed as needed. Procuring new containers involved finding out what the container would be used to dispose of, if container liners or certificates of destruction were needed, where the container should be placed and getting on site contact information for the hauler. Once I had that information, I had to find haulers who could do the job in a timely manner and select the lowest bidder. Put pricing in system so the invoicing team could pay the haulers once we received bills. Worked with repair coordinators when compactors needed repairs and ordered open top containers as needed if repairs were projected to take a long time. Reconciled vendor invoices that had discrepancies that were preventing them from being paid. This position required being able to juggle multiple tasks at once and follow through on them with very little supervision. Intermediate Website Support

Transamerica – Cedar Rapids, IA

Julyy 2017 to September 2020

This may include helping people get registered, unlocking personal profiles, or assisting with username and password information. Have to be able to quickly diagnose the caller's problem and guide them through the use of one of ten different websites. Callers tend to be frustrated before we get on the phone with them and have a wide range of aptitude on computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Achieved ALMI and AIRC LOMA designations through independent study on my own time.
