As the Construction Manager three Project Management teams reported directly to the Construction Manager. This Design Build project includes the complete replacement of passenger platforms and foundations on the LIRR commuter lines servicing the Babylon, Hollis and Forest Hills stations. Project and Design Build Manager – Managing the design team which included our design firm partner Goldman & Copeland Engineering. Managing subcontractors of various disciplines under tight scheduling restrictions is an integral part of this position. Project Manager/Executive – Overseeing and managing all of the contract operations including Pre-Construction and liaison with the Construction Manager Jacobs Engineering, ASA Architecture and the New York City Department of Design and Construction for the Taxi and Limousine Commission. This project includes the demolition of an existing office building and the renovation of an existing inspection garage. The construction of a new 3 story concrete parking garage with a helical ramp in addition to erecting 3 new levels above the existing garage which includes an interstitial mechanical space on the 3rd level and a steel and curtain wall office consisting of 2 stories with a 65 ft cantilevered superstructure. This project includes the installation of 3 new ADA compliant elevators for an active MTA Subway station. Operations include the demolition and reconstruction of the entire mezzanine level of the station. Removal and replacement of the steel structure as well as all amenities. Worked closely with Client, Architect and Owners Representative on a daily basis to provide the finished product expected of an internationally acclaimed Hotel chain. In this position the Management and coordination of all subcontractors and subcontract requisitions was required. This was a unique project in its execution due the slurry wall perimeter foundation wall which was installed to the full depth of bedrock followed by the “top down” construction of 4 lower levels.

February ’01 VRH/TORCON a joint venture, American Airlines Terminal To May ‘06 $1.6 billion Redevelopment Project, JFK AIRPORT, NY Project Manager/Project Superintendent - Served as direct liaison and contact with the managing Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Supervised and managed every aspect of construction for all trades and sub-contractors. This included ground breaking, subsurface utility installations, pile driving and concrete foundation construction, steel erection, building enclosure, mechanical and building management systems and finally high-end architectural finishes for interior fit out.
