Key Responsibilities:
Audit all financial transactions and Assist auditors in conducting weekly/monthly stock counting at various retail outlets in Lagos, Benin & Onitsha.
Review & implement accounting concepts & conventions by ensuring practices are in line with International Accounting Standards (IAS).

On multiple occasions, have requested for reversals, and chargebacks and placed timely liens on overpayments or double payments made unknowingly by the CEO to local & international suppliers, government agencies, etc.
Uncovered and rectified excessive monthly bank charges due to undisclosed minimum balance quotas which were always breached. I therefore set up payment ranges on our bank accounts & monitored them.
Secured ‘Zero charge’ concessions on unsustainable monthly P.O.S terminal charges on our numerous P.O.S machines with several banks by agreeing on average target inflows to be met monthly
