In charge of approximately 20 oor employees. Supervise training and observation of new employees being trained on the set up of plasmapheresis machines, venipuncture, collection of blood and plasma samples, and proper disposable of bio- medical waste in accordance with OSHA, FDA, and GHA regulations.
Screens for suitability of the plasmapheresis process by taking and documenting blood pressure, pulse, hematocrit and protein levels, and observing the venipuncture site for cuts, bruises or swelling.
File approximately 200 donor charts per day.
In charge of scheduling for breaks and lunches for approximately 20 employees in all areas of the center that
allowed for maximum coverage without impeding production or failing to provide breaks or lunches.
I’m control of inventory and ordering of essential supplies for the entire center on a bi- weekly basis.
Calibrates plasmapheresis machines, heat sealers, hematastats, refractometers, weight scales, Welch-Allyn blood pressure machines, and zebra label printers daily for proper function.
Maintains thermostats for proper supply storage at 18-25 degrees Celsius.
Organize employee events such as birthday, Halloween, Christmas, work anniversary, and employee team building picnics and exercises.
