Perform various routine works in the care of patients such as: prepare room for incoming patients, assist in admission and discharge, check vital signs including pain assessment and report any unusual changes and report changes to the charge nurse.

Assist professionals in performing tests/procedures and examinations to patients. Assist patient in application of oxygen to enhance breathing and oxygen saturation.

Do renal scan on patients who had not urinate for certain hours. Check blood glucose using glucometer equipment, and perform EKG as ordered.

Care of newly born babies, children, adolescent, adult and the elderly.

Care of assist and total care patients such as incontinent patients, apply skin care, and reposition patients every two hours. Assist patient with commode, bedpan, sitz bath and assist in shower or give total bath, assist in dressing and transfer and ambulate patient when needed.

Distribute and collect meal trays, assist in mealtime or feed patient and assist or give oral care.

Collect sputum/stool and collect clean catch urine for laboratory purposes. Give colostomy care, urinary catheter care and central line care. Empty drains (colostomy, CBI drain, nephrostomy drain, JP drain, urinary drain, wound vacuum drain).

Measures and record patient’s intake and output, answer call lights, ensure of

patient's safety.
