General Duties
Regularly share information with communities in order to raise awareness and build resilience. Ensure that affected communities have access to information on relevant rights including availability and accessibility of services.
As protection and rule of law activities are time-sensitive, the PRoL Monitors must carry out assessments, data submission, and assistance provision and referrals in a rapid and timely manner within the deadlines established by the PRoL Department.
The PMs must carry out these activities with regular communication, coordination, and supervision of the PRoL Protection Monitoring Officer. PRoL Monitors will provide feedback and information to the PRoL PM Officer on identified protection risks, recommendations for programming and response to meet needs and suggestions for advocacy, and be prepared to respond to clarify questions related to collected data as needed.
PMs will carry out these activities with an understanding of protection principles that safeguard the rights of persons of concern and that prevent, reduce, or mitigate exposure to further harm and protection risks.
Conduct other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Specific Duties:
As needed, implement in a timely manner Rapid Protection Assessments (RPA) in target urban areas to collect information following an emergency and submit data for analysis.
Through community networks, regularly monitor communities to identify newly displaced persons and households.
Implement assessments in a timely manner with identified persons/households, key-informant interviews and community discussions. Ensure timely submission of assessment data for analysis and reporting.
As needed, implement in a timely manner (Household Emergency Assessment Tool) HEAT assessments for emergency response
With guidance and supervision from ERM Protection Monitoring Officer, identify cases which meet the IPA criteria (a serious and immediate protection risk that can be prevented, reduced or mitigated through direct assistance) and provide the relevant (emergency cash or in kind) assistance. Engage in post-distribution monitoring to follow up on and track outcomes of implemented IPA.
Identify need for referrals to specialized services or service providers, make timely referrals and follow-up on outcomes.

Position Summary:
The Training Logistics Assistant will be responsible for monitoring, data reporting, data Entry and providing logistic support in during the teachers’ training and Events at district level target districts of Jalalabad, Bahsood, Kama, Kuz Kunar, of Nangarhar Province and Mahtherlam and Qarghai Districts of Laghman Provinces. Logistic support would mainly include, but not limited to, making the training venues ready, provision of all logistics on venue, in-class arrangements and regular communication with the registration forms, the readiness of the training venue, logistical arrangement, communication with provincial technical manager.
Major Responsibilities of Training Logistic Assistant:
The primary responsibilities of the Logistic Assistant include, but not limited to, the following:
Make all logistical arrangements for the smooth conduction of the training i.e. readiness of the training venue, tea breaks, availability of participants’ registration forms, seating arrangements, heating arrangements, provision of materials for participants & stationery, preparing attendance sheets and other logistics as required;
Collect and record feedback from trainers or participants and inform respective focal point timely so that necessary action(s) may be taken, where required;
Assist and deliver training materials and aids to the participants such as refreshments, meals, training kits etc.
Prepare training expenses reports, payment sheets and other required statements/ invoices for the Finance Department to facilitate the disbursement of transportation and lunch cost
Keep proper record of training documents and safely hand over to M&E officer (participant’s registration forms, pre-& posttests, feedback forms, and attendance sheets) and charts & materials used during the training and participants’ data;
Make sure the M&E forms duly filled up by participants, if not must refer to the relevant person to complete the form properly.
Ensure the confidentiality of all records and information pertaining to participants, organizers, trainers or all who are involved in the training;
Enter the collected Data in the system Consistent with the Requirement of the organization, with high level of accuracy.
Provision of overall support in the training in close coordination with the trainers and focal points;
Organize the training records and data in proper folders and submit to the focal point properly at the end of training; Once data entry is completed.
To coordinate and respond to any operational/logistical arrangements shortcomings during the training
Report the information to the focal point immediately where urgent action is required
