• Assists young and/or disabled students in boarding and/or exiting the school bus.
• Ensures each student is transported in the proper manner (regular seat w/without seat belt, car seat, wheelchair, etc.). It may be necessary to lift/carry students onto or off the school bus. In some cases it will be necessary to lift students into or out of their seats.
• Assists in maintaining discipline and enforcing rules and regulations pertaining to student behavior. Tends to the special needs and conditions of each student.
• Assists bus drivers and substitute drivers with directions. Learn bus routes, schedules and pickup points. Keeps abreast of route and bus stop changes and student day care arrangements.
• Assists driver in conducting scheduled emergency evacuation drills on the school bus.
• Assists the school bus driver in maintaining a clean bus and bus interior. This can include but is not limited to sweeping, picking up articles, and cleaning windows.
• Promptly reports incidents to the Bus Driver and the school staff.
• Returns any personal items left on the bus to the school or the child’s family.
• Presents a neat, clean, and courteous appearance to parents, students, school personnel and the general public.

• Stat Orders, Were Immediate with Out Delay. Stayed at Home base (my remote location) until a order came in. Once the order is confirmed it is time to Spring into Action.
• Worked well with Dispatch for Deliveries. Was on call 7 days a week. Weekends I was on call from Thursday Night until Monday Morning.
• I learned how to use and keep my phone and the specified apps open at all times.
• I was available day and Night, with a moments notice about a delivery.
• I use my own Car to pick up a Stat order,
• I drove to Multi-care urgent care picked up specimen (blood usually) scanned item, made sure lab was secured insulated bag with ice in it.
• Once I reached Good Sam Hospital, I would scan again, and write down lab technicians name that excepted the order.
• I worked under unusual circumstances when the specimen were spinal fluid, brain bleeds, etc. to get to my pick up and drop off locations as soon as possible.
• I worked Stat orders around the clock which had a strict guideline of a 1hour turn around.
• I stopped everything I was doing in a moments notice to answer the call of duty.
• I worked with Urgent care Nurses, and lab techs to make sure the deliveries were taken care of.
• Labs were taken to the hospital to check if a patient needed further treatment in a hospital.
• Every Order was A human beings specimen, which I handled with care and respect, you never knew when it was a life or death situation.
