Took care of inventory control, accounts payable, account receivable, adhered to all compliances, handled pay roll and taxes, billed charges and collected revenues from patients and insurance companies.

Receptionist: Answered calls, scheduled patients and collected copays. Obtained pertinent reports from referring physicians. Confirmed benefits and got authorization from primary care providers and Insurance companies. Updated patient’s chart with current personal and Insurance information. Scheduled patients for follow up and special procedures.

Billing and Account Receivable: Billed after coding office visits, procedures and hospital charges. Posted payments from Insurance companies and billed individuals.

Medical Assistant: Obtained and documented Vital signs, reviewed home medications and prior lab tests. Performed EKG. Documented all test results. Notified patients as per providers instruction after the test results were reviewed.

As a Medical manager in the office, I have learned and implemented skills of problem solving, leadership, management, critical thinking, and multitasking.
