Responsibilities included setting up patients to receive Remicade, Entivyo, blood, and hydration infusions. Worked with physicians to start the process for infusions for Crohns and Colitis disease. Starting peripheral lines, accessing chest ports and PICC lines.
Mixing and administration of said medications and monitoring patients during the infusion process including vital signs and allergic reactions. Preparing of charts and scheduling appointments.

RN for home infusion patients. Provided education for patients receiving home infusion for antibiotics, IVIG, and hydration therapy. Prepared the patient for infusing medications at home independently. Demonstration and setup procedures with return demonstration by the patient. Drawing labs and starting peripheral lines for patients without a PICC line or chest port. Changing PICC line dressing and accessing chest ports under sterile procedure. Included travel to patient's home and in office work such as new orders, selecting supplies and medications and scheduling patients according to their needs.

RN for Vascular surgery and transplant. Duties performed were the following. Accepting patients from surgery, admittance from ER and scheduled surgeries.
